Glen Campbell

Glen Campbell- właśc. Glen Travis Campbell (ur. 22 IV 1936 w Delight, USA), wokalista, gitarzysta, autor piosenek, jedna z najbardziej znaczących gwiazd muzyki country i pop w USA.

Współpracował wówczas z Frankiem Sinatrą (Strangers in the Night), Elvisem Presleyem, Rickiem Nelsonem, Johnnym Cashem, Deanem Martinem, Bobbym Darinem, Merle Haggardem (The Legend of Bonnie and Clyde), The Monkees (I'm a Believer), The Mamas and the Papas, Gene'em Clarkiem i z producentem muzycznym Philem Spectorem.

Campbell stał się niezrównanym interpretatorem piosenek Jimma Webba (m.in. Wichita Lineman, Galveston, By the Time I Get to Phoenix).

Pod koniec lat 60. i w latach 70. wylansował liczne przeboje, m.in. Try a Little Kindness, Honey Come Back, Everything a Man Could Ever Need, It's Only Make Believe. Piosenki nagrywał w duecie z wokalistką Bobbie Gentry (Let It Be Me, All I Have to Do is Dream). Rozpoczął także udaną karierę aktorską, występując w filmach Johna Wayne'a. W 1969 został gospodarzem popularnego seryjnego programu telewizyjnego CBS The Glen Campbell Good Time Hour.
