Justice Recording Company

Justice Recording Company wytwórnia płytowa,której założycielem był Calvin Newton.Pierwotnie mieściła się w Nashville,ale od połowy lat 60-tych jej siedzibą jest Winston-Salem w Płn. Karolinie.Pierwszym albumem wydanym przez wytwórnię była płyta "Variety Time"(Justice 101) autorstwa Billa Artza & His Rhythm Kings wydana prawdopodobnie w 1965r.

Od początku Justice była niestandartową wytwórnią,w której każdy wykonawca posiadający niewielką ilość dolarów mógł nagrać płytę.Newton miał kilku wyszukiwaczy talentów,którzy penetrowali pobliskie kluby i sale taneczne by pozyskać nowych wykonawców.Przykadowo,zespół Comets musiał zapłacić 1000$ za nagranie [zresztą nie wydanego albumu] i wynajęcie na 4 godziny studia.Wytwórnia miała dostęp do dość prymitywnego studia w Winston-Salem,ale nie wszyscy artyści byli tam nagrywani,np. grupa Tempos nagrywała w Nashville.
