Seria płyt wydanych w Melotone / Perfect / Banner / Oriole / Romeo, Crown, Bluebird w latach 1930-1934 została wydana pod jego nazwiskiem lub jest wymieniona w wydaniu z 2010 roku „American Dance Bands on Record and Film (1915-1942)” przez Richarda J. Johnsona i Bernarda H. Shirleya pod jego nominalnym przywództwem.
Jego ostatnia sesja nagraniowa jako wokalisty miała miejsce w 1949 roku. Używał również pseudonimu Bob Richardson do niektórych nagrań w Mayfair Records .
