Leif Garrett

Leif Garrett- Ur. 8.11.1961 r. w Hollywood w Kalifornii, USA. Ten nastoletni wokalista o wyglądzie blond aniołka pokazał się już w 1973 r. w filmie "Walking Tall". Zanim podpisał kontrakt nagraniowy z wytwórnią Atlantic, wystąpił również w dwu następnych częściach tego obrazu.
Latem 1977 r. trafił do amerykańskiej Top 20, rejestrując własną wersję przeboju The Beach Boys "Surfin' USA".

Karierę kontynuował nagrywając przeboje "Runaround Sue" z repertuaru Diona oraz "The Wanderer" i "Put Your Head On My Shoulder" Paula Anki. W 1978 r. przeniósł się do wytwórni The Scotti Brothers, dla której nagrał swój największy hit - dyskotekowy numer "I Was Made For Dancing" (trafił do Top 10 zarówno w USA, jak i Wielkiej Brytanii).
W połowie lat 70. odegrał w Wielkiej Brytanii ważną rolę w popularyzacji... jazdy na deskorolkach.
