Irwin Levine

 Irwin Jesse Levine (ur. 23 marca 1938r -zm.  21 stycznia 1997r)  był amerykańskim autorem tekstów, który wraz z L. Russellem Brownem napisał piosenkę „ Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree ” .   Piosenka była światowym hitem dla Tony'ego Orlando i Dawn, ponieważ osiągnęła numer jeden na amerykańskich i brytyjskich listach przebojów przez cztery tygodnie w kwietniu 1973 roku i numer jeden na australijskich listach przebojów przez siedem tygodni od maja do lipca 1973 roku. najlepiej sprzedający się singiel w 1973 roku w Stanach Zjednoczonych i Wielkiej Brytanii. W 2008 roku Billboard uznał tę piosenkę za 37. największą piosenkę wszechczasów w swoim wydaniu z okazji 50-lecia Hot 100 .
