Jean Ferrat

 Jean Ferrat (ur. Jean Tenenbaum ; 26 grudnia 1930r - zm. 13 marca 2010r) [1], francuski piosenkarz i poeta. Specjalizował się w śpiewaniu poezji, zwłaszcza Louisa Aragona . Miał sympatię do lewicy, która znalazła odzwierciedlenie w kilku piosenkach.



Ferrat urodził się w Vaucresson , Hauts-de-Seine, jako najmłodsze z czworga dzieci ze skromnej rodziny, która przeniosła się do Wersalu w 1935 roku, gdzie studiował w Jules Ferry College. Jego urodzony w Rosji ojciec (naturalizowany w 1928 r.) Został zmuszony do noszenia żółtej gwiazdy i w 1942 r. został deportowany do Auschwitz , gdzie zmarł.

We wczesnych latach pięćdziesiątych zaczął występować w paryskim kabarecie. Potem unikał określonego stylu muzycznego, ale pozostał wierny sobie, swoim przyjaciołom i publiczności. W 1956 roku skomponował „Les yeux d'Elsa” ( „Oczy Elsy” ), uwielbiany przez Ferrata wiersz Louisa Aragona . Jego wykonanie przez popularnego artystę André Claveau przyniosło Ferratowi pierwsze uznanie jako autorowi piosenek.

Jego pierwszy singiel  został wydany w 1958 roku bez powodzenia. Dopiero w 1959 roku, wraz z wydawcą Gérardem Meysem , który stał się jego bliskim przyjacielem i współpracownikiem, jego kariera zaczęła się rozwijać. Podpisał kontrakt z Decca i wydał swój drugi singiel „Ma Môme” w 1960 roku pod kierownictwem muzycznym Meysa.

W 1961 roku Ferrat poślubił Christine Sèvres, piosenkarkę, która wykonała niektóre z jego piosenek. Zmarła w 1981 roku w wieku 50 lat.  Poznał Alaina Goraguera , który został aranżerem jego piosenek. W tym samym roku ukazał się jego debiutancki album, Deux Enfants du Soleil . Ferrat napisał także piosenki dla Zizi Jeanmaire i wyruszył w trasę, dzieląc się z nią występami w Alhambrze przez sześć miesięcy.

Nuit et Brouillard, która w 1963 roku została wyróżniona przez Académie Charles Cros „s Grand Prix du Disque i pokazał dowolny temat mogłyby zostać wprowadzone piosenek. Ferrat ponownie koncertował w 1965 roku, ale przestał występować na scenie w 1973 roku.

W 1990 roku otrzymał nagrodę od Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique (SACEM), francuskiego stowarzyszenia autorów piosenek, kompozytorów i wydawców muzycznych.

Ferrat zmarł w Aubenas , Ardeche , po długiej chorobie   w wieku 79. Żył w Antraigues-sur-Volane , małej wiosce  w Ardeche. 

W 2013 roku piosenka Ferrata, Nuit et Brouillard , pojawiła się na liście 20 piosenek BBC, które zmieniły świat. 

W 2015 roku Columbia Records wydała album z hołdem, w którym różni artyści zinterpretowali piosenki Jeana Ferrata. 15-utworowy album zatytułowany Hommage à Jean Ferrat: Des airs de liberté zawierał występy artystów Marc Lavoine , Cali, Dionysos, Julien Doré , Patrick Bruel , Catherine Deneuve , Benjamin Biolay, Raphaël, Patrick Fiori , Grégoire , Sanseverino , Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, Zebda, Natasha St Pier , Patricia Petibon & Marc Lavoine oraz „Ma France” śpiewane przez Jeana Ferrata.  Album znalazł się na liście przebojów we Francji, Belgii i Szwajcarii.
