Piosenkarz podpisał kontrakt z bardziej, niż Kapp, prestiżową firmą ABC Paramount, która z powodzeniem wylansowała jego kolejne przeboje: „Let Me Belong To You” (w amerykańskiej Top 20 w 1961 r.) i „Ginny Come Lately” (w rok później w brytyjskiej Top 10).
Milionowy sukces debiutu powtórzyła w 1962 r. nastrojowa ballada „Sealed With The Kiss”.
W 1966 r. na listach amerykańskich znalazły się kolejne nagrania Hylanda: „The Joker Went Wild” i „Run, Run, Look And See”. Triumfalny powrót nastąpił w 1970 r. za sprawą lirycznej wersji „Gypsy Woman”. Producentem nagrania starego przeboju The Impressions i Ricky’ego Nelsona był Del Shannon, współautor kilku tematów z towarzyszącego singlowi albumu. Sukces miał jednak krótki oddech i Hyland zaprzestał niedługo potem dalszych nagrań.
