Szczyt kariery nastąpił wkrótce potem: po sukcesie „I Want To Be With You” cała seria nagrań zespołu trafiła na listy przebojów country. „My Home's In Alabama” wszedł do Top 20 w USA, a w 1980r grupa podpisała kontrakt z wytwórnią RCA i zaczęła natychmiast odnosić sukcesy. Z całej serii przebojów country wymienić można „Tennessee River” i „Feels So Right”.
Późniejsze single, jak np. „Love In The First Degree”, znalazły uznanie również wśród miłośników popu. Mimo to poruszający problemy ochrony środowiska Pass It On Down z 1990 potwierdził, że zespół ciągle potrafi zaskakiwać swoich fanów.
