Dan Seals

Ur; 8.02. 1950r w McCamey w stanie Teksas (USA). Debiutował jako menedżer niezłego duetu England Dan And   John Ford. Przedsięwzięcie skończyło się katastrofą, a  pogrążony w długach i nie spłaconych podatkach Seals  musiał zastawić własny samochód i dom. „Koczowałem i u przyjaciół, dzieciaki u kolegów i kiepsko to wyglądało” - wspomina po latach.

Na dodatek, dwa solowe nagrane dla Atlantic albumy, Stones i Harbinger, nie przyniosły zysków. Pomocą był Kyle Lehning, realizator wcześniejszych przebojów England Dan i Johna Forda Coleya, wierzący głęboko w talent Sealsa.
W 1983 wypromował na amerykańskie listy country piosenkę „Everybody’s Dream Girl”, a  wkrótce potem „Meet Me In The Montana”, śpiewaną przez  Sealsa w duecie z Mary Osmond. Sukces uruchomił cykl  nawiązujących do wiejskich zabaw, uroczystości i wzruszeń przebojów („Everything That Glitters (Is Not Gold))”, „You Still Move Me”, „I Will Be There”, „Three Time Loser”, „On Friend", „Addicted”, „Big Wheels In The Moonligt”), w znacznej części autorstwa wykonawcy.

Seals umiejętnie ; zdyskontował sukcesy nagraną w 1990r wersją „Good Times” Sama Cooke'a i albumami Won’t Be Blue Anymore i On The Frontline. Na drugim towarzyszyła mu Emmylou Harris w nastrojowym temacie „Lullaby”.
