Cadet

Wytwórnia Cadet Records zaczęła działalność jako Argo Records w 1955 roku w Chicago jako jazzowy oddział Chess Records. Argo zmieniła nazwę w 1965 roku na Cadet, aby uniknąć nieporozumień z wytwórnią o podobnej nazwie w Wielkiej Brytanii. Cadet wstrzymał wydawanie płyt około 1974 roku, kiedy jej artystów przeniesiono do Chess Records.
Istniała również Cadet Concept Records, nagrywająca rocka i bardziej ryzykowne muzycznie zespoły jak Rotary Connection i psychedeliczny album Electric Mud nagrany przez Muddy Watersa.
Wytwórnia miała także hit w Top 20 w 1968 roku singlem "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" nagrany brytyjski zespół Status Quo przez licencję z Pye Records w Londynie.St Louis był zespołem znanym jako The Truth lub Acid Sette ,który podpisał i nagrywał dla tej wytwórni pod skrzydłami Abner Spector.Materiał wytwórni jest obecnie własnością Universal Music.
