Dick and Dee Dee

Amerykański duet mieszany utworzony w 1961 r. przez Dicka St. Johna Gostine'a (ur. w 1944 r. w Santa Monica w stanie Kalifornia, USA) oraz Dee Dee Sperling (ur. w 1945 r. w Santa Monica) w czasie gdy oboje uczęszczali do miejscowej szkoły średniej.

Zadebiutowali piosenką "The Mountain's High" autorstwa Gostine'a, którą wydała najpierw mała, lokalna wytwórnia Lama. Później utwór został przejęty przez wytwórnię Liberty, dla której Gostine już wcześniej dokonał kilku nagrań solowych, i stał się sporym hitem w USA.

Fakt, że Gastine i Sperling chodzili wtedy jeszcze do szkoły uniemożliwiał im promocyjnego odbycie tournee. Podczas występów ubrani byli jak uczniowie szkół średnich na semestralnych promocjach, utrzymując przez wiele lat dużą popularność w Stanach. W 1962 r. przenieśli się do wytwórni Warner Brothers i zanim wyszli z mody w połowie lat 60., zanotowali jeszcze kilka przebojów.Póżniej wycofali się z rynku.
