Pendulum

Pendulum powstało w 2002 roku w australijskiej miejscowości Perth, kiedy to lokalni producenci muzyczni Rob Swire i Gareth McGrillen poznali DJ Paula "Elhorneta" Hardinga. Wszyscy reprezentowali inne style muzyczne, od punka i metalu aż po drum & bass i breakbeat. Postanowili połączyć siły i tworzyć połamaną muzykę klubową (breakbeat, dnb). Ich talent ujawnił się już po 12 miesiącach działania zespołu. Ich pierwszy album "Hold Your Colour" został sprzedany w nakładzie 100 000 sztuk. Wykonali także remiks dla grupy The Prodigy (Voodoo People), który grany był regularnie w BBC Radio 1. Ich wielkimi przebojami stały się także "Tarantula" oraz "Painkiller", zremiksowany później przez Noisie.
Od ostatniego roku pracują nad występami na żywo, nazywając siebie elektronicznym Led Zeppelinem. Zaprzestali grania swoich produkcji z gramofonów, zastępując je gitarami, perkusją i wokalem. Dzięki temu tworzą nowe brzmienie, które zawiera elementy syntetyczne połączone z klasycznymi instumentami. Wasnie taki występ będziemy mieli okazje usłyszeć na tegorocznej edycji festiwalu Creamfields.
