Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (właściwie Elena Jane Goulding) urodziła się w Hereford, lecz dorastała i wychowywała się w Powys, w Walii. Aktualnie piosenkarka mieszka w Londynie.
Ellie wygrała Brit Awards 2010 w kategorii "Wybór Krytyków", co dało zainteresowanie mediów jej osobą, konkurowała między innymi ze swoją przyjaciółką Mariną Diamandis. Ellie wygrała także "BBC Sound of 2010 music list".
 Swój pierwszy singiel "Under The Sheets/Fighter Plane" wydała 16 listopada 2009 dzięki wytwórni Neon Gold, singiel ten został wyprodukowany przez Starsmitha, który współpracował z Ellie od samego początku jej wejścia w świat muzyki. Debiutancki album Ellie, zatytułowany "Lights" został wydany 1 marca 2010. Po tygodniu sprzedaży płyta trafiła na pierwsze miejsce najlepiej sprzedających się płyt. Drugim singlem z debiutanckiej płyty została piosenka "Starry Eyed" zajmując 4 miejsce w UK. Na trzeciego singla wybrano piosenkę "Guns and Horses" nr 26 w UK. Czwarta to "The Writer" zajmując 19 miejsce na Brytyjskich listach przebojów,oraz cover piosenki Eltona Johna "Your Song" która zajęła 2 miejsce na listach przebojów BBC1. Kolejnym singlem będzie "Lights". Dnia 29 Listopada 2010 roku wydała rozszerzoną wersję swojej debiutanckiej płyty a nosi ona nazwę "Bright Lights" z nowymi piosenkami takimi jak: "Little Dreams","Animal", "Home", "Human", "Your Song". Płyta zajęła 8 miejsce w Wielkiej Brytanii jako 'NAJCZĘŚCIEJ KUPOWANA'.
Zaś dnia 8 marca 2011 roku, w Stanach Zjednoczonych ma zostać wydana debiutancka płyta Ellie "Lights". Płyta ma mieć trzy nowe piosenki, które nie są dostępne na żadnej płycie "Lights". Są to: "Animal" , "Lights" , "Your Song". (te piosenki są wykorzystane TYLKO na rozszerzonej wersji płyty o nazwie "Bright Lights").
Nagrała singiel "Wonderman" ze swoim znajomym Tinie Tempah.
Ellie w swoim dorobku muzycznym ma także nagranie kilku coverów, między innymi "Be Mine!" razem z Erikiem Hassle, "Black & Gold", "Don’t Panic" Coldplay, "Only Girl (In The World)" Rihanny.
