Beyond Records

Wytwórnia z angielskiego miasta Birmigham, która  zasłynęła serią nowatorskich kompilacji w stylu „ambient dub”. Wydaje, co jest ewenementem na rynku tej muzyki, wyłącznie albumy kompaktowe. Począwszy od sierpnia 1992 r., kiedy ukazała się część pierwsza (Ambient Dub), promuje i odkrywa artystów związanych z lokalną sceną. Higher Intelligence Agency, Banco De Gaia, Groove Corporation, A Positive Life, Original Rockers - wszyscy wkrótce zdobyli zasłużoną popularność.

Szefem firmy jest Mike Barnett: „Beyond została założona z myśląo wydawaniu inteligentnej muzyki tanecznej”; prowadzi również klub Oscillate, w którym wiele z zespołów dostarczających nagrań do kompilacji pojawia się na żywo. Inni muzycy nagrywający dla firmy Beyond to m.in. Richard Kirk (pod pseudonimem Electronic Eye), David Toop (płyta Buried Dreams z Maxem Eastleyem), Martin Franklin (projekty TUU i Stillpoint), Paul Schutze (pod pseudonimem Seed). Od 1993 r. w Sedonie działa amerykański oddział Beyond - Waveform Records.
