Brotherhood of Man

Topowa grupa brytyjska, założona w 1969 r. w Londynie przez kompozytora Tony’ego Hillera. Jej liderem był Tony Burrows, poprzednio członek zespołów Ivy League, Flowerpot Men i Edison Lighthouse. Pierwszy singel z kompozycją Hillera, „United We Stand”, wszedł do brytyjskiej Top 10 w lutym 1970 r.

W zmieniającym się składzie Brotherhood Of Man nagrali kilka następnych singli dla wytwórni Deram i Dawn, ale ich prawdziwym sukcesem okazał się występ na Festiwalu Eurowizji w 1976 r. Utrzymany w manierze przebojów Abby temat „Save Your Kisses For Me”, śpiewany przez męsko-żeński kwartet pod wodzą Martina Lee i Lee Sheridan, zdobył pierwszą nagrodę, międzynarodową popularność i miejsce w amerykańskiej Top 30.

 W Wielkiej Brytanii na szczyt list przebojów trafiły wkrótce potem single „Angelo” i „Figaro” autorstwa Hillera, Lee i Sheridan. Okres sławy nie trwał długo i z końcem lat siedemdziesiątych zespół podjął lukratywne, choć niezbyt ambitne występy w nocnych klubach. W 1982 r. przypomniał się wiernym słuchaczom singlem „Lightning Flash”.
