Lotus Eaters

Brytyjska grupa z Liverpoolu, nawiązująca do stylu Wild Swans, z której wyrosła. Ich debiut „The First Picture Of You” z czerwca 1983r został uznany za ciekawy przykład popu.

 Trzon składu stanowili: Peter Coyle (śpiew), Jeremy Kelly (gitara) i Allan Wills (perkusja). Gerarda Quinna (instrumenty klawiszowe) i Phila (bas) zastąpili wkrótce Michael Dempsey (bas) i Steve Creese (perkusja).

Zespół nie powtórzył  sukcesu singlowego debiutu, ale kolejne: „You Don’t Need j Someone New" (1983), „Set Me Apart” i „Out In Your Own”   (1984) oraz „It Hurts” (1985) były popularne wśród miłośników popu, podobnie jak album New Sense Of Sin (1984).Coyle i Kelly reaktywowali po latach Wild Swans, ale nie   udało im się zdobyć słuchaczy.
