PM DAWN, amerykański duet. Bracia Prince Be (właśc. Attrell Cordes) - voc, k, sampling i DJ Minutemix (właśc. Jarrett Cordes) -k, sampling przyszli na świat w rodzinie murzyńskiej w Jersey City w stanie New Jersey. Dorastali w domu pełnym muzyki - matka śpiewała w chórze kościelnym, ojczym był współtwórcą zespołu Kool And The Gang. Zadebiutowali w 1989 singlem Ode To A Forgetful Mind, nagranym dla małej wytwórni Warlock. Zwrócili na siebie uwagę szefów brytyjskiej firmy Gee Street, przyjęli ich propozycję współpracy i przenieśli się do Londynu. Tam powstały płyty Of the heart,of the soul and of the cross:The utopian expierence i The bliss album...?. Zawierały muzykę dość niezwykłą, łączącą elementy rapu, hip hopu, soulu, pop music lat sześćdziesiątych, rocka, jazzu i muzyki klasycznej, bardzo atrakcyjną w warstwie melodycznej, aranżowaną z dużą inwencją kolorystyczną, przesyconą atmosferą mistycyzmu (Wpływ prozy Edgara Cayce'a), np. Zaproponowali też udaną hiphopową przeróbkę piosenki Norwegian Wood The Beatles. Do udziału w swoich nagraniach pozyskali m.in.
