Historia" Good Vibrations " to utwór amerykańskiej grupy Marky Mark and Funky Bunch . Został wydany w lipcu 1991 roku jako pierwszy singiel z ich debiutanckiej płyty Music for the People . Piosenka stała się hitem numer jeden w Stanach Zjednoczonych, Szwecji i Szwajcarii. Singiel spędził dwadzieścia tygodni na Billboard Hot 100.
"Good Vibrations" napisał Amir Quadeer Shakir, czyli MC Spice, dobry przyjaciel Donnie'ego Wahlberga, Marka Wahlberga i Dana Hartmana . Quadeer napisał i wyprodukował Wildside na debiutanckim albumie Marka Wahlberga oraz trzy inne piosenki. Piosenka zawierała sample Loleatty Holloway śpiewającej " Love Sensation ", którą napisał Dan Hartman . Holloway pojawiła się w chórku na teledysku.
Czarno-biały film wideo przedstawiał 20-letniego Marky Marka trenujacego boks i z dziewczyną na łóżku. Mark Wahlberg po raz pierwszy spotkał Micky Warda, gdy miał 18 lat, a później grał go na dużym ekranie w filmie The Fighter z 2010 roku. Video zostało wyprodukowane przez Davida Horgana i reżyserowane przez Scotta Kalverta.

Kobiecy wokal w tym utworze należał do nieżyjącej już dziś amerykańskiej wokalistki Loleatty Holloway. Wokal ten samplowany jest z jej starego hitu ,,Love Sensation" z roku 1980. Wielu zresztą pożyczało sobie ten wokal. Można go znaleźć między innymi w przeboju grupy Black Box ,,Ride On Time", a także w piosenkach Samanthy Fox (I Wanna Have Some Fun), Pet Shop Boys (We All Feel Better in the Dark), Moby'ego (Move) czy też Cappelli (Take Me Away).
