Michael Zager (ur. 3 stycznia 1943 r. W Passaic, New Jersey ) jest amerykańskim producentem, kompozytorem i aranżerem muzyki do reklam , albumów, telewizji sieciowej i tematów muzycznych do filmów. Uczy muzyki w Florida Atlantic University . Zager był członkiem jazz-rockowego zespołu Ten Wheel Drive w latach 1968-1973.
Zager wyprodukował laureatów nagrody Grammy : Whitney Houston , Cissy Houston , Peabo Bryson , Luther Vandross , Deniece Williams , Jennifer Holliday , Joe Williams , Arturo Sandoval , Herb Alpert , Olatunji i The Spinners . Zager wyprodukował artystę R & B Street Corner Symphony (1975), Dee Edwardsa (1980), Take Five (1981), Elusion (1981). Jest także współautorem piosenki Patti Day " Right Before My Eyes " z Alexandrem Forbesem.
W 1977 roku singiel "Life's a Party" Michaela Zagera przedstawia młodą Whitney Houston (15 lat) i jej matkę Cissy Houston na wokalu. W 1978 roku Michael Zager Band miał ogromny hymn disco z " Let's All Chant ".
W latach 1979 i 1980 Zager napisał składanki dla Spinners "Working My Way Back to You"/"Forgive Me, Girl" (# 2 Hot 100 w marcu-kwietniu 1980, # 1 UK) i "Cupid"/"I've Loved You for a Long Time" (# 4 Hot 100 w lipcu-sierpniu 1980, # 4 w Wielkiej Brytanii).
