Vaughn Monroe

Vaughn Monroe [ur. 7.10.1911r-zm.21.05.1973r],amerykański baryton, trębacz i lider orkiestry, najbardziej popularny w latach 40-tych i 50-tych zeszłego stulecia.
W ciągu 1945 r.,jego dwa hity "There! I've Said It Again" i "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" spędziły ponad miesiąc na szczycie list przebojów.Jego dwa największe przeboje "Ballerina" i "Riders In The Sky" zostały nagrane odpowiednio w 1947 i 1949r.
Od 1946r prowadził swój własny program radiowy Carmel Caravan.Nagrywał dla wytwórni RCA aż do lat 50-tych,a jego popisowym numerem był utwór "Racing with the Moon" z 1941r.Jego inne przeboje to: "In The Still of the Night" (1939)," Someday (You'll Want Me To Want You) "(1949)," Sound Off "(1951) i " In the Middle of the House "(1956).
Monroe zmarł 21 maja 1973r krótko po operacji żołądka.
