Po zmianach personalnych zadebiutowali pod nową nazwą w składzie:
,,Herman" Noone (ur. 5.11.1947 r. w Davyhulme koło Manchesteru, Anglia; śpiew),
Karl Green-31.07.1947 r. w Salford koło Manchesteru. bas),
Keith Hopwood (ur. 26.10.1946 r. Manchesterze, Anglia; gitara rytmiczna),
Derek Leckenby (ur. 14.05.1946 r. w Leeds. Anglia,:zmarł wiosną 1994 r.; gitara prowadząca) i
Barry Whitwam (ur. 21.07.1946 r. w Manchesterze, Anglia, perkusja).
Współpraca z producentem nagrań Mostem zaowocowała singlem z utworem "Into Something Good", amerykańskim przebojem, Earla Jeana, który w 1964 r. wszedł n. brytyjskiej Top 20.
Herman's Hermits wyspecjalizowali się w interpretacjach przebojów amerykańskich z lat pięćdziesiątych ("Silhouettes" grupy The Rays, "Wonderful World" Sama Cooke' a.
Dzięki nim odnieśli w 1965 r. w USA sukces dorównujący Beatlesom, sprzedając w ciągu dwunastu miesięcy dziesięć milionów płyt.
Nagrywane non stop przeboje, często o wodewilowym rodowodzie ("Mrs Brown You've Got A Lovely Daughter" i "I'm Henry VIII. I Am"), uczyniło z Herman's Hermits idoli amerykańskich nastolatków.
Reżyser Sam Katzman zaangażował grupę do filmów "When The Boys Meet The Girls" Connie Francis) i "Hold On'".
Wprawdzie zainspirowanych amerykańskim wodewilem piosenek nie wydawano w
Wielkiej Brytanii na singlach-jednak z powodzeniem zastępowały je inne,
pisane przez czołowych wówczas autorów ("A Must To Avoid". "No Milk Today"), początkowo nowatorskie i łatwo wpadające w ucho, latach 1968-1969 coraz bardziej jednostajne i wtórne.
Pasmo sukcesów towarzyszyło jenak grupie do 1970 r., kiedy Noone
postanowił poświęcić się karierze solisty (udanie debiutując tematem "Oh, You Pretty Thing" ).
